Search history

When I do an advanced search, and set it go back over 2 years, the search history only goes back to Aug 08, I cant seem to get it to go back further.

Any advise please.

At the moment the PH search is limited to the past two years for performance reasons.

The is on the list to change, but in the mean time you can use google to search PH by typing:

site:pistonheads.com/gassing

into google in front of whatever you want to search for.

Thanks for that but I cant get 2 tears back, the further back I seem to get is Aug 2007 even with it set to 2 years

Hmmm.... seems the search database only has data that far back at the moment.

The ever increasing rate of posts on PH is causing more and more load on the searches. The new system that is on the way should solve all these problems and go back to the very beginning of PH.
