Ted, just a quickie..

Any chance of you getting an extra domain name? Something innocent along the lines of 'IT help forum .com' or something, so that when the boss looks in the history he doesn't see that I've been talking about cars and pikeys all day but thinks I've been trying to solve all his problems like a good little worker?

Yep, could do that. I've wondered about whether it would help those that have had the site blocked by firewalls but I guess that's all done by IP addresses?

Having said that, the way some of my system works it would still push you towards pistonheads.com when reading news stories.

I'll have a think about it.

Is there any way of having it stay under an alias domain name?

I think FourWheelDrift or somebody has the pistonheads message board on their TVR site but it stays as theirs not as PH.

It's just I fear for Dastardly's career!
I know there are a few other people on here who could do with it You know who you are!

There are tools around to hide in like Ghostzilla and annonimity proxys like www.inetprivacy.com/a4proxy/

But there are also a few websites that allow you to surf you sites through another, the higher level URL is the only one seen in logs. A bit like when you click a URL link on a hotmail page, the new page in displayed within a hotmail window still.

A google search might come up with some more, the two I found above a ones you buy but I know there are some free ones around.
