what's new since when?

Several times over the last few days "what's new" shows my last visit as exactly 24 hours ago although I've visited quite recently. Is this a known problem? It's something that I have only started noticing in the last few days.

It gets a little bit confused from time to time, hitting 'Mark all as read' or clearing your PH cookies should kick it back to life.
