Im getting really tired of seeing cars I like in the classifieds but then noticing that the mileage is omitted from the listing, or the price is shown as POA. Please can we make these things required fields when an ad is being created so people can't post an ad without including that information? I don't want to have to waste my (and the seller's) time phoning up only to find that the milage is sky high or the price is unrealistic. It's obvious that sellers do this because they want a chance to try to excuse whatever factor would put people off if it was in the listing, but to me, as a potential buyer, it's just a pain in the backside.

I tell you what boils my piss more, utter cocks who think sticking their 318 in the M3 section with "M3 lookalike" will get it to sell faster. FFS man if i wanted a 318 id look in the normal fking section, not the m3 section. Its just more st ive got to filter through before i get to what im actually looking for.

But what really takes the biscut are those wkers who put up an add for 1 quid, who stick up the advert, and in the advert then put the real price. THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME!!! is there any way i can force them to sell me the car at the stupid listed price they use so theirs looks "cheapest"?

One last thing, every time i try and sort from lowest to highest on a group of cars, it does this, but then half way though the pages, it starts all over again.

Eg: 1 is lowest, 10 is highest, then 11 is back to lowest, and 20 is highest again

I have no idea why it does this, but its a tad annoying, means more button clicking for me trying to guess where the lowest priced cars start again confused

There's little point in making either a required field. People who don't want to show the mileage can simply enter any number they like. Same for the price, although arguably less likely.

If you see anyone posting stupid adverts, whether they are putting adverts in the wrong category, putting incorrect prices on them or any other sort of messing about then just hit the 'Report to Administrator' button in the top right of the advert.

We'll take a look as soon as possible and deal with them appropriately! thumbup

I'm not sure a required price is a good thing...you tend to find the higher end hyper cars, real exotic classics etc use "POA" (or similar).

The mileage though, I agree, but I don't know whether stuff should start being made mandatory.

If a seller chooses to not take time over the advert or consider it, then that's not someone I want to buy from - skip on to the next ad.

One thing that MUST change is companies putting premium ads up for £150 etc as that is the price per month.

Yep, report them all and we will sort them out!

Same goes for anything that irritates you in the classifieds, even any Halfords ram-raid specials (we'll move those to the 'Boring Stuff > Show Cars' section!)

I have to say it makes me chuckle when the title bar of my browser changes to 'PistonSheds' in that godforsaken section. hehethumbup
