Moving some threads but not others? (readers cars)

Hi, just a quick question about readers cars. A couple of days ago someone moved my thread and another from readers cars to Ford. While this makes some sense, there are no rules to say that if you post a ford it should only be in the ford forum, and there were hundreds of other threads not moved into their respective marque areas. From the replies I was getting it seemed that it was not just ford owners that were interested.

I have no issues with the general way PH is run but perhaps a brief explanation or a sticky rules thread at the top saying what not to post? Maybe just some consistency.

I know that the folk running the place are taking a view on the various forums, inc Readers Cars.
My tuppence worth is that the Readers Cars one was one of the most apt, particularly in a motoring related site, in that you could have a quick look at whatever was posted and contribute if you thought it worthy of contribution or just look at other PHers cars. The pic posts range from the absolute exotic motors all the way through to more mundane stuff but I guess they are all owned and shown with the same pride of ownership and have an appeal, even if just on a simple "lets-be-nosey" level that goes outwith the specific car forums. IMHO

I agree with renmure on this one. I enjoy looking at all manner of things from exotics to track slags in Reader's Cars. I will always take a quick look in there, but would never go into the Ford forum for example to find specific cars even though I'd enjoy looking at a Ford Focus RS or track project Capri in Reader's Cars.
