I thought I was missing out on competitions and promotions so I ticked the 'send me junk' box on my profile and I haven't had a thing yet. Woss going on?
I've also disabled adblock plus on PH for a while to see what I've been missing out on too.

We only send Promo emails occasionally and only when we have something that we genuinely think will be of interest to you guys.

There is normally one every couple of months, so keep your eyes out any one will pop up in the end.
