multiple threads in general motorsport

Dear mods,

In the last week we've had lots and lots of threads running concurrently on the same topics. lots more people than usual posting in GM now but its very irritating to have so many subjects duplicated (we have about six on whether we think the BBC did a good job or a bad job with the F1). Can we have some extra mod-age for a bit to slow down the proliferation of duplicate threads? thanks.

The mods don't get time to read every thread, but if you hit the report button then it will flag it for their attention and it will get dealt with as soon as possible!
