Aren't all the new forums going to dilute P&P?

Given that the P&P no longer exists, probably not.

Oh dear god.

Now it is far too long to read on an iphone.

I'm off.

Not much of a pub now if you have to go into a different room when the topic changes.

In my experience, once a discussion gets shunted off into a "specialist" area, the thread meets instant death.

Not too clever a move - in my opinion.

I'm going to reserve my judgement on all these sub-forums for now, but I have to say I do agree with Eric at this point in time...

That's my concern too.

Mind you, I thought separating GG / P&P was a bad idea way back then, so what do I know? hehe

Will be interesting to see how the community aspect of P&P will be replicated now.

This is stupid, there's way to many sub forums now in the p+p, ruined imo.

FFS guys, I'm going to have to actually do some work soon if the P&P doesn't re-open.
Scoll down infidel and go to the lounge.

It's dusty as hell and smells of PVC, but there's something there.

So the P&P is now just all the other sub-forums as opposed to the 'pub' atmosphere?

You'll just have to see how it goes. As NCOT says, there were people who were unhappy when P&P was spawned out of GG, and that turned out OK.

As for iPhone users, you can still replicate P&P as a single forum by adding all the new forums to your list of favourites, and then using the "what's new" or "my stuff" buttons. Bingo, all threads listed and ready for reply.

We also have a mobile version of PH in development which will make nav on all handsets significantly easier to manage.
