I think a pets forum would be great.

And then if it proves popular it can easily be split for marketing purposes into various different forums like "dog", "cat", "budgie", "giraffe" etc.. And then if that proves too popular the cat category for instance would split easily into "tabby", "gingery thing", tortoiseshell", "leopard" etc.... And then if that got busy it could split into "tabby cat - boy", "tabby cat - girl", "tiddles the tabby" etc...

Perhaps the new strapline could be 'Pussy Matters'? Or would that confuse people into thinking it was the health subforum? Either way I like how you think, you should definately drop your CV into haymarket wink

Oh, don't. Just don't. Pick a fight, I mean. If you do, I predict some form of insect will arrive on the thread, and bleat on about how unfair it is that anything that has taken the time to evolve beyond a hard exoskeleton, lateral jaws and the ability to breath through it's own arse is being nasty to it, that it is being unfairly put upon by other more evolved and cuddly species more suitable as pets, and get the whole thread shut down.

And it's utterly boring to boot.

It's called humour love. Go in the right hand pocket of your dungarees, get out your pc handbook, look under H and see if you recognise anything.

I love the way newbies like you are keen to tell people to leave the site if they don't happen to agree with your view. Amazingly enough it thrived long before you came along.

Newbie?! How long do you have to be here before you are no longer a newbie then?

ETA Good idea about the 'Pets' forum Ali, quite a few posts come up about Tiddles and Fido!

Sounds like a reasonable enough idea, given the number of 'What dog?' type threads. However, I think it may be viewed as adding fuel to the fire of discontent at the moment.

Well if you have yet another separate forum you'll hardly see any posts at all IMHO. That's the way things seem to be going at the mo.
