Email system not working.

I was working through the local members map trying to contact those who seem not to visit the forums often and suddenly it stopped allowing me to email.
It is still doing it...
In red letters I get:
"Oops...
Service Unavailable [F]"
on this particular member (for e.g.)

Does each member get a certain number of emails they can send out, or an outbox or something?

Oh and something that I've always wondered - how do you deal with the possibly hundreds of bounced emails that are sent back for whatever reason?

I only get the something is wrong message when I'm looking through the members fleet and it doesn't like me selecting certain car models in the drop down list.
I reckon Ted wrote a limit for each accounts to a certain numbers of emails per day and then it throws the unavailable message. There must be a reason it says [F], perhaps meaning full.
I dunno - you probably know the code inside out, but I only get the service unavailable when I send out 20 or so emails then it doesn't work til the next day.

I have just looked at the amount of emails you have sent and you are correct, you have reached the max amount you can send which is why you have an error.
Sorry for not thinking of this earlier as I thought you were having a technical error page.
For obvious reasons to stop people spamming all our contact list we put daily and weekly limits on the system so if you need to email more people you need to do it in small batches over several days/weeks.

It is amazing the number of people who register but never look at the forums.
Ever thought of sending out an email to those who haven't logged on for 6 months reminding them about the site and giving a few pointers about how to join in?
Incidentally, I've found I have to send about 5 emails for every 1 that still has the car in their profile, hence the number of emails. I'm trying to attract a good variety of cars to this Dorset meet.
