I would just like to say that it really irritates me how when you click on a picture in an article to enlarge it, more often than not you then have to re-size the window to fit the picture you are veiwing. I think this is poor web page design.

It would be nice too, if you could click anywhere on the enlarged picture to close the window, as you can on other forums I use.

Also, when clicking on links, it should be programmed to open a new window, not to navigate away from the Pistonheads page.

I appreciate these are maybe tricky to do, but would make a good website a lot more user friendly in my opinion!

I always get a new window when clicking on links on PH (apart from web links in a person's profile)

What browser are you using?

If it's IE, resizing photos is an IE function which you can set yourself.

The new uploader gave me this error

Upload FailedArray ( [0] => File size (2430KB) is too big. Please resize the image to a smaller size before uploading and try again [1] => Problem with file size [2] => Error in creating thumb from original [3] => Something went wrong creating thumb from original )

Your file was too big. Thanks for the report though.

I know that from what it says, but what is the max file size to upload. If the uploader gives the options for forum fit and others then I would have thought it would do the necessary work for me.

Well yes it would make the image displayed to the forum much smaller but it's the uploading of the file to the host is too big to begin with. That's set at the imagehost and not PH. smile

Fair enough.

So do PH know the limit and care to share it (or add it to the the uploader popup) to make life easier and avoid all the guess work and quicker posting, which I have lost the will to do now (have decided to use flickr instaed), for next time?

The limit is currently 2mb, which should be enough for most images. We will look at adding the size limit somewhere in the pop-up to avoid confusion, but this will not appear until we launch the next version.

Hope this helps!

Or we could just add it in, which we have done... thumbup
