Seems my ad is 'Premium' although I can't recall requesting/paying for it? Is this just because I'm a really nice bloke/true PH'er??

I think that it is because of your 'length of service' on PH smile

Sorry for the thread hijack, though perhaps its somewhat hijacked already ...

I've been thinking for a while how difficult the Premium vs Standard ads make it to view ads.

I'm scanning the ads fairly actively at the moment, and finding new ads is made a lot harder by everything being grouped premium first and standard second, with no easy way of jumping to the change over point.

And while I'm on the subject why do some (trade?) ads have no age asociated with them?

Fair points raised here, and the classified section is being looked at currently in terms of search functionality and overall design.

We won't be able to make the changes immediately, but the classified section is an important area for development.

Not much of an answer I know, but watch this space.

When you make the changes, could you also possibly include some sort of auto image re-sizer so that any size of image can be uploaded to the PH site and the site resizes as necessary.

Autotrader does this, so it must be possible and it would make life a lot easier!!
