A few weeks ago I submitted an article using simply news@pistonheads.com

Not even an autorespond.

I then submit a specific to stories@pistonheads.com as per the direction at the end of November's "My First Car" (http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=164&i=19021)

Again, not even an autorespond.

If my stuff's sh*te, I'll cope. And being told it's shi*te is fine, it will stop me wasting my time putting things together, and you having to delete things.

But to have absolutely nothing back is quite.... "annoying" is probably the most appropriate term to use.

- Is there a formal route for article submission? If so, what is it please?

Thanks.

Well to be fair, the site is free.

But what I don't understand is in November the site makes a specific request in the My First Car article reading: "If you have an interesting My First Car story then we would love to hear from you."

And in the following 6 months you publish all of ONE more.

November's car having been an Escort, and the later one, an... Escort.

We've switched editors recently and quite a few things have got mixed up in the transition. I'll have a word on Monday and see what is happening with the "My first car" submissions.

Hope that's okay.
