Space - The Final Frontier (For PH at least)

Where are we supposed to be posting space related threads now?

We have some cropping up in the "Boats and Planes" forum and some more in "The Lounge".

Can we deicide on a single home for these - my suggestion being The Lounge as space travel and spaceships are closely related but the spaceships side of things seems (in PH world) to be closer to "Boats" than "Space".

Wouldn't spaceships go in General Gassing as they are 'vehicular'?

The Boats/Planes/Trains forum originally had the tag line "Engineering Matters", so based on this I'd suggest threads about spacecraft go in there, whereas general space threads ("look at this planet", etc) go in either the lounge or news, depending on how recent it is.

Hhhmmm I'd have thought in Boats, Planes and Trains. It's flight related, all be it rather ballistic if you fly with the Russians.

The trouble is "crossover". Nearly every space thread will touch on spaceflight and space travel as well.
My suggestion is that space and space travel stays in The Lounge so that all "spacey" topics are together.

However there are a multitude of TV programs about space travel ergo it should be in TV & Film..

Not an easy call. I suppose it could come down to the quality of the replies you'll tolerate on those threads.

To be honest, I don't think anyone would have added to it anyway. It really was a terrible show! Shall I round up some people and get them to post on it about MX5's and chipped diesel BMW's to make you feel better?

And my Space Station Spotting Thread is now lost in another dimension so that no one knows where it is. Consequently, I forgot all about the ISS last night AND they are starting to discuss Space Station Spotting on a DIFFERENT thread over in The Lounge.

Come on mods, move space related matters to The Lounge and have done with it. It's all so confusing at the moment.
