Temp fix:
Use google if you can be specific, just type in Pistonheads and then what you want to search for, should come up with some threads.

The search is limited to the past two years to reduce the amount of data it has to trawl through. Unfortunately this is not easy to change, but we are looking into designing a new search tool which will allow us to go back all the way.

As mentioned above, in the mean time you can use google instead. Just type "siteistonheads.com/gassing" followed by whatever you want to search for and it will (normally) find it!

Tried the google method, but it isn't really suitable as I want to limit my results to one forum only.
