Is it normal for ads to take 2 days to appear.....?

Hi

I placed an advert Friday morning , followed process , paid for it etc & it said all was good and it had been published.

Unfortunately, its now Saturday evening & still nothing has appeared on website .....am I doing something wrong or is it normal now for it to to take this long, I thought it was usually within 1 hour ???

Its really frustrating because I have now missed a weekend where I may have sold the car.

Any pointers would be appreciated

Still no advert visable (despite saying published on my login) after 3 days and not heard anything back from Pistonheads....?????

I think I spoke to you on the phone earlier but in case I didn't, it has just been a case of bad timing.

When you sign up for a new trade account, for security reasons it needs to be manually approved before your adverts appear. Unfortunately this can only be done during office hours, so if you sign up for an account on Friday evening then it will be Monday morning before your account is activated.

I've check and you account has been turned on and your advert is live, so everything should be sorted now and will not happen again in future as this only applies to new accounts.
