The PH code of silence?

Outlaw biker gangs have a cone/code of silence. It means no matter what happens, noone speaks to anyone outside the gang about illegal activity, especially the press or Police. Its pretty effective at keeping anyone wanting to dig dirt, from being able to judge or prosecute based on anything but evidence from the actual scene of a crime.

So what if I was to have an accident on the road (may or may not be my fault), but through my post-accident haze (if Im lucky) it occurs to me that previous PH ramblings may count against me in court? Could I use my last breath to instruct the Hamsters to "lose" my entire posting history at short notice?

Even if the moderators didn't have the ability, it would be a fairly trivial database query to delete every post you had ever made. However, mopping up posts from other people who are quoting your posts would be much more involved, I would imagine.

...or attempting to get it off Google's cache or snapshots on the Wayback Machine. Basically, if you don't want it to haunt you, NEVER say anything online.

We can remove your posts, but as said above, if you post something on the internet then it is almost impossible to eradicate entirely with copies stored in many different places around the world (not to mention likely stored by whoever is doing the digging long before you find out that they are after you).

We will always do everything we can to protect your privacy, but do be careful what you admit to in public. And never ask what a lepton is...
