The Jaguar 'reveal' thing - what's going on??

There was a thread started last night with early leaked pics of the new XJ, and when I looked at it this morning, the OP had 'BINNED' all over it.

I can kind of understand this as, presumably this was becasue it was prior to the embargo being lifted, and action was taken to ensure nothing detracted from the main event tonight at 8, but what I don't understand is that it then its seems to be suddenly OK for the PH 'staff' to have its own thread with the exact same content.

Seems a bit like double standards to me...

I'm pretty sure the poster of the original thread deleted his own pictures. At least that was the impression I got from the thread.

Well they certainly came up as 'binned' this morning, and I don;t thing you can do that to your own posts.....

IIRC the binned is just a picture that anyone can post.

Sorry, I meant, why would you bother putting in 'binned' rather than just deleting the photos?

Who knows, beyond me either... maybe it was to point out that these weren't allowed on the forum!
