Hello,

I don't want to make you all Blubber but I've just turned 46 & for the first time in my life I'm without a car (been 6 months now). I've had 100's of classic's / sports cars since I was 18 but alas I've been unemployed for 2 years & now want to start my own business.

Now to the point:-

I've just registered on here & find it very interesting, I don't want to break the rules & get banned but as I'm looking for a Dragons Den type investor for a retail shop in Bury in Lancashire selling Cornish food delights I was hoping someone on here might be interested?

Ideally I like to start a new thread asking for a Dragons Den type investor with up to £6,000?

My intention of putting my website addess was not to advertise my website but for people to learn more about me, I've given up trying to sell private plates in this 'recession'.

I'm that god awful woman who is attractive like a squashed jellyfish, and prattles on for time eternal until inevitably reaching some tiny conclusion whereby she thinks she's left the oven on and the cat might be on fire so unfortunately I'm out.

God I hate her.

Otherwise, sounds like a good business! Will you deliver (or is it just chicken, fish etc) because proper cornish pasties should be enjoyed all over, not just in cornwall!

A two-course pasty is the way forward as according to the internet, you cannot buy them in Cornwall anymore. Isn't this how they started out, meat one end and fruit at the other for the tin miners lunch?

Best pastie story I've got is that the best ones I've ever tasted came from a bakers which was in someone's house in a little village near St Just when I used to go camping in Sennen as a teenager, pubs in those days didn't do much food so the local used to tell you to order your pastie the day before then collect it and eat it in the pub... The Radjel. Happy days.

As you are only looking for £6K why not consider a co-operative, smaller number of peeps, smaller investment for them. With banks not returning owt you may get a few takers prepared for a punt.
