Getting a parsing error when previewing post with a picture?

If this is using the uploader (beta) we have on the site?
Or just generally when you put a picture in?

If the former then we have just run a fix on this, so try again in around 10 minutes after it has copied across the site.

Let me know if that has sorted it.

Even weirder... I can preview a new thread in the forum, just can't post an update to the thread mentioned above... Also, it gives same error whatever text i try to preview.

Ahhh... now I see it, big bold Parsing Error.

Will need to look into this, but popping home now so won't be till tomorrow morning, hopefully that is ok.

Right worked out the problem.

The title of the thread has a hyphen in it, but (in the words of M&S) this isn't any hyphen, it is a Microsoft Word hyphen, and this has special codes attached to it. Well this special character is causing the "Parsing Error" so we will look into fixing it.

I have updated the title of the thread so that it will work in the meantime as it might be a couple of days for us to sort this out in the code.

ahhh good old msword background crud >_<

there are vb classes out on the net that can strip all of that out prior to hit hitting the db
