I just downloaded it, and it scanned clear.

exe.file if in the wrong hands will crash your pc and you will lose everything and no anti virus can pick them up well not my old one anyway exe. or renamed them to poo. exe.will still execute soon as you open it they are just a basic command to vape that pc.

surprised that people still fall for the download this exe file from a sharing site as it came from their friend ?

If he was in the "to:" section then I think it is safe to say it didn't come from him. I will make sure he doesn't open it though!

i know it didn' come from him, but as he isn't in my address book, so its come from PH.

I think it is likely to have come from someone who has both of you in their address book, it is not possible for the site itself to have an email virus.

I've been getting something similar for the last week or so from a PHer's old Yahoo address.
