Classifieds Out Of Order?

Hi,

I tried submitting a classified, but when I click on add photo, or submit, it states that there is a technical problem?

Anyone else have the same problem?

Did the same thing for me. It's been a bug for a while - I reported it a while ago - but once you know it's not a problem.

Click on 'manage my ads' in the left hand pane and you will find that everytime you hit 'add a photo' the advert is submited!

Delete the duplicates and then add a photo from the icon on the right.

This problem tends to be related to non-standard symbols in the advert text. Normally this is caused by writing the text in MS Word (which uses fancy apostrophes, quotes and hyphens) and then copying and pasting the text across to the advert.

If you write the advert directly in the webpage (or is a simple text editor such as notepad) then you shouldn't have any problems.

We do have a new parser which should cope with these special characters and fix the bug which we will be including in the classifieds soon.
