Q for mods: double posting?

Am I right in thinking double posting is frowned upon?
I ask because I wanted advice about registering (and MOT equiv stuff, etc) cars in Spain and I'm guessing that the Spain forum doesn't have quite the audience the GG forum does.
Ideally it seems logical to use both forums for the same post... no?

Cross posting is normally frowned upon especialy if there are umpteen posted across numerous forums.

In your case a couple would slip through the net.
