Specifically, I'm refering to this thread.

Simply because the thread referenced the TV documentary that sparked it, it has absolutely no reason to be moved to the TV forum. Please use a little common sense when moving threads around the forum.

Yes, a TV documentary inspired the thread, but really it should remain in the Lounge or even NP&E

I moved it as it was based on a TV program, and all TV related thread are routinely moved to that forum for discussion.

The Lounge is primarily a catch all for all the other subjects that don't have dedicated forums.

I also felt that it is was a shame that a thread about all the brave guys who are coming back to this county maimed and scarred both emotional and physically, should be lumped in with all the dross criteria that falls into the lounge.

It shouldn't detract from the debate and the discussion about the program or content because it's not in the Lounge. Does it really matter if it’s in the TV forum surly it’s the discussion that is important?

There are a few exceptions to moving a thread, a member also posted up last night in one of the TVR forums, that there was a Chim on program, pointless really to move that as probably 80% of the members who read the forum wouldn't know what a Chim was.
