Sending email in classifieds

Are there any delays with emails in the classified section?

I have now sent out 5 emails trying to contact people with cars for sale and nobody replied.

I can't believe that all would ignore me.

When did you start sending the emails? There have been some issues with the mail server over the past couple of days.

I sent one about a week ago and 4 yesterday.

i also have had loads of issues.
i have an advert for my car which has been on for well over a week with no response,

i have mailed 6 different people re their cars as a px but no replies too.
Mailed ph, to see if they have a problem but not had a response as yet

i have tried emailing my own advert to see if a reply comes back... did not

If you have an advert live then you can see all the messages on the replies page in your manange my ads section, as well as in your email inbox.

I know it isn't ideal, but it does provide a work-around if you are being affected by the mail problems.

That was more for the benefit of Extra300 (and anyone else reading with an advert), I'm afraid we don't have a solution at the moment for those trying to get reply to adverts which are having problems aside from hoping that the advertiser checks the replies page or trying phoning then instead.

We will post on here as soon as it is fixed so that you can try emailing again, but at the moment we are working flat out to try and solve the problem.

It's working now, although a lot of emails are being moved to junk folders, especially on hotmail.
