Denied access to a thread.

I was denied access to a thread a week or so ago and have sent 2 PM to two different MODS. No one has bothered to contact me.

Id like for this block to be lifted...no reason was given...its very annoying as i feel the need to address some of the biased crap thats being written on that thread.

I banned you from the thread because we received a number of complaints about your posts in it, and because we didn't feel that you were doing much on it beyond being provocative.

We don't tend to remove bans once they've been instated.

As far as im aware i have broke no rules?

You say that some people were unhappy with what i wrote, well il tell you what, im unhappy with what the majority have written on that thread.

There's absolutely NO balance on that thread whatsoever. Just Steve left now to try and readdress the balance. No place for difference of opinion on PH. That's sad.

With respect, that's what we used to say about black people, disabled people, and so on. Basic democracy in the form of mob rule is not acceptable. The OP shouldn't be barred for disagreeing with people, even if he disagrees with everybody who happens to be posting. Once upon a time a man was tortured and killed for daring to suggest that - contrary to what everybody else believed - the Earth in fact orbited around the Sun...

He wasn't barred for disagreeing people - at least not for the principle that he disagreed. He was barred because he was unable to do so in a way which was civil, respectful or which was in the spirit of PH.

To clarify: I assumed that PH had acted reasonably; I was responding to the prior poster who seemed to think the OP should be barred for disagreeing.

Yep, my answer was aimed at the earlier poster too. It should have had a "with" between disagreeing and people too.

Whilst i accept mods have lives he responded to another post nearly ten minutes after i asked my question. I find it odd that he ignored my question not even responding to say will respond tomorrow or something. But hey thems the breaks i guess.
