Hello there,

Just discovered Pistonheads yeasterday - WHAT A SITE!!! It is awesome :-D
Really enjoy reading the post's and glad there are a lot of other car fanatics out there!

I have one question though - I would like to swap my current car for a different type of car, and I would like to post a message to this effect in the car forum concerned with the car that I would like, so that it will be drawn directly to the attention of the people who own this type of car, that my car is available as a swap (trying desperately to explain my problem without breaking any rules) :-)
What I would like to know is does this break your ban on advertising cars in the forums, and if so, could you add a swap section to your classifieds, so that I can get the message across to people who may be interested in this?

Cheers,

Philip.

Glad you found us.

For now go ahead and start a topic about what you want to swap. I'll see if we can sort out a nice way of doing PX's in the classifieds section at some point in the future.

That was a very quick reply!!!
Now you have given me the green light, for your own + anyone else's interest, due to an expanding family, I'm looking to swap my '85 Porsche 911 for a nice practical family car,...A Jaguar XJR!!! I'll stick a post on the Jaguar forum now. Thanks once more!

Yeah it's a bit of a work of art isn't it!!!

Still, I only just joined yesterday, and I wouldn't want to be chucked out already!

Thank's for the welcome!

Anyhow, I suppose I'd better work on my manners and politeness, if I'm going to drive a gentleman's transport at some time in the near future!
