Problems Accessing Mobile Site

Hi

I couldn't seem to get onto the mobile site yesterday evening or this morning using my iphone. It works fine now.

The error message said something about the header being too big (sorry - i didn't note it down).

Just thought I should let you know.

Cheers for the heads up we will try and look out for it as didn't see a problem myself last night on the iPhone... out of curiosity which network you on?

I got a white error page once or twice, didn't take a snap shot of it but normally I just see these when it takes too long to load a page.

I can't access the mobile site either.

It just won't log me in. I type in my username and password, hit Submit, and it just returns to the same login page.

I can still access the full site, as this is how I'm typing this...

It's been doing this for over a week now, but ive been away so it didn't bother me.

Any ideas?

What page are you using to log in? Can you try going to "Members" via the homepage and logging in there?

Ah, right. Cleared my history, cache and cookies and it worked.

How do I browse it on the full site via my iPhone, I usedto link directly to gassing but now it takes me to the mobile site and I can't find an option to change it

At the bottom of the page there should be a "View Full Site" option, you can then bookmark the page that takes you to if you want to always use the full site.

Thanks, it feels more intuitive in landscape mode on the iPhone to use the full site

I get this quite a lot, particularly when viewing the pie and piston group.

The forum group views are very processor heavy due to pulling content from multiple forums. It is something we are aware of and trying to improve, but unfortunately at the moment these can time-out on the mobile site with the limits in place.
