Should 'Pet' posts be moved out of 'The Lounge'

I know I run the risk of getting torched, but should there not be a 'Pets & Animals' sub forum by now?
Now dont get me wrong I have nothing against pets or animals and have even read a couple of 'pet' related posts but everytime I now come into 'The Lounge' on the first page there are numerous 'Pet' posts and sometimes feel they clog up 'The Lounge'
We have sections for other stuff so why dont we have one for 'pets'
If the PH people start a 'Pets & Animal' forum, to kicks thing off ill even post pictures of some of my exes.
ETA: Mods...please can you keep this post in 'The Lounge' and not move to feedback so we can get the opinions of the lounge readers - besides my post does mention the word 'pet'

I suggested that parenting should be moved out into its own forum and others have suggested relationships too (the match.com thread can surely only take so much strain)
The response was something along the lines of that if we give every little niche its own little walled-off area then you destroy the diversity of those who contribute. OK, so some we could do without but they can be easily ignored and it's the diversity of opinions that help.

Indeed - where do you stop, where do you draw the line?A "Pets" section? A "I shagged a right munter last night" section? A SWT section?
Some dissenters would suggest that, post-change, PH already has too many sub-fora. The beauty of The Lounge is that it takes all those topics which don't belong in other places.
Let us keep it thus.
