Weird Blackberry photo upload problem

I had a few problems with an IT policy on my old blackberry which would never let me upload photos using the PH image uploader.

Got a brand new BB (Curve 8900) and I know for sure it doesn't have any IT policies on it.

But, when I try to upload an image I get an error message saying:

"The application boltbb200 hasd attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy."

I'm using Bolt 2.0 as my browser.

Any ideas?

You might want to look at resetting the Firewall on your BlackBerry. To do so select "Options" from the main screen, and then "Security Options > Firewall." Click the "menu" button and select "Reset Settings."

This operation can take some time. Once it completes, reboot your phone. The easiest way to do this is to take out the battery.

Nope, still doesn't work with bolt and the blackberry browser won't open the photo upload window

How do you know you don't have an IT policy. Is it BIS or BES?

to see your IT Policy

Options - Security Options - Firewall to see your device fw settings.

Well I am flummoxed as I don't have a Blackberry at work among us to test this out.

Sorry I can't be anymore help. Do you have anywhere else you can host images, I think I read in Stuff this month a nice sync app for phones and online and your pc for transferring them that you could use. Don't have the copy at work though so not sure what it was called.

Yes thanks, I usually just on facebook and link to there but it would be more convenient to use the ph uploader.

Not urgent but if you get hold of a berry I'd be grateful if you can investigate.
