I'd like to know what some of the emails that PH sends out look like under AOL. If they are forwarded to me they appear as normal but I've had comments that links don't work etc.

Any computer savvy AOL users care to spend a few minutes helping me out with screen grabs etc?

Sorry, only just caught up with you. I'll send you an email tomorrow. People tell me that they can't click on the links in the emails. Never having seen AOL I've no idea why not!

That's easy

It's cos AOL's nannyism removes the hyperlinks from the email, leaving you with just the text.

However, if you read the email by logging on to their website (instead of through the software) then it works

You really want screenshots of that?!

Ah, I see. So if you send a link to someone they can't click on it from their email client?

That must be pretty frustrating surely?

I do notice that a lot of newsletters have a line that says "AOL users click here" and its surrounded by the HTML (so you'd see the full < a href... as well)

Not sure if thats of any use.
