Censoring acceptable words

Why is "b-a-r-s-t-a-r-d-i-s-e" censored? It is a perfectly good English word without derogatory connotation.

The censor algorithm should differentiate between "b-a-s-t-a-r-d" and "b-a-r-s-t-a-r-d-i-s-e".

I note that "S-c-u-n-t-h-o-r-p-e" is similarly censored. This was an early idiocy on email censoring systems which was corrected long ago in most applications.
