Naming and shaming

It is with great confusion when I have seen a number of threads closed due to the naming and shaming thing yet again there is a multi page thread thread running since the 1st of May slagging off Kwik Fit! I realise it is fashionable to doi this but think it is disgusting that it has been allowed to go on for so long again! Also why don't moderators have a "moderator" tag on their username like "PH Technical guy" and the like have, why the secrecy?

Because they aren't defined by being a moderator.

Whereas it's Pete/Will/Garlick/Stuart's job.

As for why it's still open, N&S threads on big companies are left as they don't threaten legal action as they accept there will always be bad press.
Small companies don't tend to accept bad press quite so easily and threaten legal action, whether PH are right or wrong the legal expenses would still be massive.

Yet nothing comes up in the search for "name and shame" but I guess that's to be expected too?

if you use the google search function oh PH the first 4 topics are for the thread that Marshalla linked to
