a Wiki for events per month

Just having a look into what to do this weekend, but just googling the dates and trawling through pages and pages I'm finding it hard.

What about a Wiki or similar where people can post up (in date order) events they know of or are attending? There is a common interest on this forum, I'm sure most would be up for anything petrol related.

It'd also be good to have a idea of who/how many are going, so people could meet and have a beer.

I'd assumed we need the following:

Dates
Event
Website
Ticket price
Members going?

Mods, it'd be good to leave this hear for discussion, I can create a wiki in the suggested place. Please.

I knew there would be something...

But it doesn't seem to have air shows etc.

It's user generated so you can add stuff yourself.

The whole point was I don't know about them but others do. Others clearly don't add them to that calendar.

Unknown. But I never knew the calendar was there, but I know Wikis are about

Either or really. But will the people using the all ready full calendar be happy that its then populated with air events etc?

There's a "Shows" wiki... doesn't say what type of shows though...

I use RaceDates for most Motorsport events, but not everything's on there...

So I have my own in Outlook, and export it to my phone (I was bored one day!) but that's a pita!!

I've never used the PH Calender, I think I may have to start...

There are certain areas of the site that are hidden away but have great features. We are looking at a redesign over the summer to hopefully address some of these problems and make the features we have which add you lot out more, more visible.

I would suggest the calendar is the best place for this kind of thing, but as you say it does require more people to know about it and use it.

We are hoping to use if far more for signup to Sunday Services in the future so that is one way to promote the calenders use more too.
