Is it possible that if someone has filled in the country (or maybe region too) field in their profile, that it's displayed under their username when they post, as per their post count and membership duration currently do?

Justification:

Well it'd be handy. PH seems ever more to be a world wide discussion location. I know we have members from the US, Oz, New Zealand, Middle East, Far East and across Europe.

So knowing sort of where they are would help in replying on certain topics, as much content will be location specific. It's also likely to help reduce confusion when one person says something that may well make sense in their country, but to many Brits living in the UK it would just seem odd.

ie "what car" threads. Cars that are a good bet in the UK may not be so appropriate in other countries.

...but that doesn't apply to cars from the USA, obviously

People's location is only one click away, and I think it's best to leave it as is.

The vast majority of members being UK based anyway and those that aren't tend to have the good sense to make it obvious when a post requires it. If we allowed it underneath the post count it would only add unnecessary "noise" and be exploited for humorous purposes.
