I really didn't mean to break any rules here - I'm sorry. You allowed the thread on the HR Owen service day ( http://tinyurl.com/35b43au) so I just assumed that this would be OK. I understand it does look like promotion but I only wrote that to try and get people interested in the meet. I'm not associated with the company (I work in the city) I have just got to know the guy after taking my cars there for a few years.

You guys have an awesome amount of traffic and I really would like to be able to invite other marques than just Ferrari. Would you consider allowing a thread but without my text bigging the company up?

Alternatively, would you allow me a thread with a link to my original thread over on Club Scuderia?

In any case - could you at least let me know the names of the two people who expressed an interest last night? I didn't make a note of them and would still like to include them in the day.

Thanks for the post, I do understand your disappoinment about the removal.

We have quite a few posts like this made every day, and if we didn't remove them the site would be overrun with free 'adverts' for companies, open days and meets - we don't remove them simply because we are grumpy old men (honest)

Unfortunately, "some" small minded people, wield a small amount of power to the detriment of PH methinks All banter is good as long as it doesn't breach the rules or hijack a thread, regardless of topic IMO
