I thought adverts get reviewed?

Is it not possible to tell people who submit adverts as awful as this, to use a bit of grammar, and generally try to make the advert make sense?

That advertisement has actually made me sad. I'm all for a bit of banter or a joke or two about chavs - but this takes it to a new level.

Do you suppose the guy can actually write, or is that his best effort?

If it's the latter, he's basically illiterate.

I have never met anyone who had been through our schools system that I would describe as illiterate.

I've translated:

I need to sell my car before next week as he(?) won't wait any longer than that. I paid more than what I'm asking for the car. I originally purchased the car from my employer and when he owned it it was a rather nice runner. My original plan was to swap the engine into my kitcar but, having assessed the job properly, it's rather beyond my ability.

At the weekend, the car started first time but the other day I tried and like it over-boosts. I think the car might just need a good run out to resolve this issue as it was fine before I stored it. Even though my mechanical knowledge is lacking, I assume the over-boosting is the problem as when I had a R5 Turbo the symptoms were similar. I will try to fix the problem by replacing the coil packs but if I do I would like more than this listed price.

A new clutch was fitted to the car three months ago but it needs a new front window as I lost my temper with it's refusal to start and whacked it one. The car also has no tax or MOT.

The car is a facelift and some modifications have been made; namely samcos and a unique harde pipe. I also have some other parts that I will fit before sale; a drift dump valve, boost and oil guage, pod oil catch tank, air filter and hard pipe.

If you were illiterate and wanted to sell your car, you would ask someone else to write the advert. We know he knows at least one other person (his boss) so unless his boss is the boss of 'tards Cymru, thus rendering him also unable to write in English then we can safely assume the writer of the advert is, well, a bit of a plank.

Im also a member of 'tards Cymru and even I struggled to translate.
