porsche own sub group?

just wondering.. why does porsche have its own sub group, and not just sit under the "other marques" heading like ferrari etc..?

Because we porsche owners do not wish to be bunched in with the rabble.....

More seriously I think it's to do with the number of posts generated on the porsche boards.

Amongst the car specific boards the Porsche board has the highest number of postings outside of the TVR boards. I'm guessing that is why it seems to have it's own section. I know a while ago we discussed splitting the Porsche forum into two or three groups but decided to keep it as it is because many contributors have opinions and experiences of Porsche models other than those that they currently own.

Daz, I deleted it after i re-visited the listings, figuring as you did, that the 'mix' of Porker people and the diversity of cars would be a headache for someone trying to define a an appropriate list. Besides, if people want to find something specific, say all postings on 993's, then they can use the Search function which is very good.
