I know I've asked this before...

But PLEASE can we have this. We have an amazing collection of people, with an amazing collection of cars.

A large group already do charitable things for people, strangers and even each other, but to have a collective area where things can be asked, requested - anything.... Wouldn't that be good for all of us?

The problem is, would anyone bother reading a charity begging forum except those looking for help? It would be page after page of "I'm doing a banger rally, give me some cash" threads in no time at all.

If you have a good cause that you want support for then drop Garlick an email and (assuming it is a good cause or interest to PHers) you'll be given the go-ahead to post about it and possibly even some editorial coverage. But doing it this way keeps out the dross and makes sure people do pay attention when one appears.

Don, as much as I like your idea, I do think Mr Will makes sense.

As with Hedley Court a while back, there was a big sticky, the good ones, by their very nature, tend to get the coverage they deserve.

Of course the could be a charity forum, but it's content is the discretion of the moderators only, to avoid what I agree would be simply loads of begging.
