Wierd popups...

Morning techie types.

I'm getting a really odd popup webpage at the moment, it seems linked to the small noisy ads that i posted about a while ago.

I'm accessing through Italy, so i think they're only outside of the UK, but somehow even with a monster company firewall, and Chrome running popup blockers it is still managing to open this page:

I'll have a look into it, but there shouldn't be any pop-ups running anywhere. The fact that it's getting around all your firewalls and pop-up blockers makes me wonder if there is something nasty on your PC, can you run a malware scan just to be sure?

Yep, done a full scan and nothing was found. It only does it on pages where those noisy adverts appear...

im getting popups too, although firefox is blocking them (again accessing outside of the UK)

Thanks, I've already passed this thread on to our ads team but I'm sure that will help.

I'll get back to you once I've heard from them and hopefully they will be able to nuke it from orbit pretty quickly.
