Can the mods read what we're writing before we post it?

I heavily edit a lot of my posts before submitting them; and on occasion I realise that what I have written is either a) self incriminating b)total crap c) cringeworthy or d) all three.

I would hate to think that a mod can view me 'naked' as it were, in my pre-submit state

No.. you are typing a locally cached copy of a document until you upload it

They're way more powerful than that, they can see what you are going to post before you even think it yourself.

No, you're entering data into a form in your web browser. Clicking submit wraps that data into a message understood by the PH web servers and ships it to the server for handling and addition to the database (in layman's terms)..

just make sure you put a cover over your webcam, the mods can see it even if it's not turned on

Except with modern JavaScript you could be transmitting everything that was typed in real time to an application somewhere...so if you were bothered you could see what people were doing as they edited their posts.

But it would waste loads of bandwidth.
