Censorship on here !
Discussion
I just posted 2 pics in the Ferrari section of a white california with a model in a bikini it has been removed and I got an email saying only scantly covered women allowed in the Pit Babes thread. I put bikini in the search engine and this was the 1st page that comes up scroll down what a joke!

I know only a bit of fun but after putting bikini in the search engine for my "evidence research" I found Pistonheads is full of pictures of scantily clad women so it was worth getting censored for! Bit like the time I got a post deleted for mentioning my car was up for sale when I looked there were loads of posts/people doing the same but I got caught....naughty naughty.
The actual picture of a very white California was interesting but it would have been thrown out of Pit Babes as it was nothing to do with racing that is why I posted it in the Ferrari section

Personally I think barefoot has a point, & as for Haymarket someone needs to ask them if it's acceptable that this site seems to spend a lot of it's time broken, I don't even bother with it any more when it's slow. That's what Haymarket should be concerned about, not a fully respectable pic of a girl & a car on a car site no less. Really, what decade are we living in the 20s?
The point I was trying to make is that there are scantily clad women on lots of topics on here but I got an email saying they are only allowed in pit babes which is a joke. It was not that my post was deleted who cares but it was the reason for deleting it that made me post. Do as I did and put bikini in the search engine and look at all the pics in loads of different forums. And why has Haymarket decided that the Ferari section cant have something like that posted but lots of other sections can? If they are going to censor postings surely they keep some sort of standards? Pathetic!
No it's not necessary at all, it's not necessary in the Sun or the Star & they are half naked women. If you pick up any newspaper there will be a picture somewhere of some girl in a bikini & there will be adverts showing men & women in their underwear, the Daily Mail on line has many links to mainly women celebs either in bikinis or some form of undress, car magazines are full of girls in bikinis & cars. Pick up an addition of Hello, Ok or even Country life Magazine & you will not turn many pages before you come to a picture of someone in underwear or swimwear.
We're not talking pornography & I don't want to see pornography here either, we are simply talking about the same type of pictures that you'd see in any other type of media whether it be tv, newspapers or magazines.
None of the above are necessary but you could walk into your office with a copy of any of them under your arm & no one would scream in disgust. Why are those not branded with a big NSFW on their covers? Should someone get the sack for reading country life?
I understand why some things are NSFW but it's really gone to the extreme on here especially as this is after all a car site, pretty girls & cars have gone together since cars were invented.

I don't suppose that Haymarket will be boycotting all future Motor Shows for fear of seeing a rather inappropriately dressed young filly on the stands during press days either.I think the main reason for deletion in the majority of cases comes under the banner of NSFW, PH luckily does not get blocked by very many companies, and in the main that is due to PH not allowing the type of material that could cause a problem.
For members who know that being caught viewing girly images could lead them to a lot of agro, usually tend to steer clear of the lounge, there are a lot of posts in this forum and some images may well slip through the net.
So if you work in one of these companies and want to catch up with PH during your lunch break you'll probably steer clear of the lounge forum or go viewing the PitBabes, NSFW type threads.
You would however probably think that is would be safe to view the main forums as these are monitored and censored a little heavier, you in the main would be correct in that assumption.
So if you want to post hard core car pics go ahead, just make sure that there aren’t any scantily clad girls in the pics or they'll get removed.
If sure that if anyone really needs to view cars and girls together then they are probably no more than two clicks of a mouse button away from doing so.
HTH and clarifies.

The picture in question is from a major car show on the Ferrari stand where children and adults wander about so it was def safe for work! My point is why censor a picture on the grounds of scantily clad girls are only allowed on one forum when they are all over Pistonheads on lots of different forums Haymarket need to get their act together.
Not really.
The car was mostly obscured, the post was about the girl and we like to keep the car forums for car content.
The Lounge, Grid Girls etc are all there for your use if needed, and you must realise that this sort of deletion isn't new as you have been around these parts for a while now.
I usually try to defend the decisions here, but this is nothing new on PH and I'm not sure what you want Al, me or anyone else to say?
