Is the lounge being phased out?

Just curious really but looking down the list of threads started/moved either the mods are involved in some kind of comical in-game to do the most ludicrous tenuous thread moves out of the lounge or there is a deliberate attempt to kill it once and for all.
ANyone else notice this?

I agree with blind.

I don't give a toss about cars; I drive one and that's about it. I come here to see some comedy threads that aren't "HOW DO I CHANGE THE ENGINE ON A..." or "IF YOU COULD DRIVE ANY CAR...", and I'd like to be able to find them in one place; an 'off topic' subform, like how P&P used to be. I don't want to check News & Politics to see some whitty stuff about the days events, or go look at Health Matters to hear what someone's stupid mrs. did in TESCO's whilst shopping for groceries.

Leave the damn thing alone, or I'll come and kick in your windows and set a fire outside your house!

Well, the students seem to be getting away with protesting in such manner!

Mods; people are perfectly capable of going to the BBC website to see the news... They don't need some sort of 'user-made' newsfeed subforum (News & Politics). I thought the point of a forum was to discuss things (before you say it; something you can't do over the BBC websites).
