Posting pictures

How do I post pictures (for example from ebay and Pistonheads classifieds) onto a thread? I know how to do it from the likes of photobucket but is there a simple way?

When you post something above the text box is a clicky called 'Upload an image'

You would need to have saved the picture onto your hard drive though

Go to the picture you want, right click on it, on the menu that comes up click "copy image url".

Once you have that go to your forum post and type [IMG] then hit ctrl v to paste the link then type [/img] after it.

Should look like this (without the ! after the first bracket) [!IMG]http://cdn.images.pistonheads.com/aimg/2283/2283867-1.jpg[/IMG] this will then display any image without you having to download it and reupload it, just remember to check how big the picture is as obviously people won't appreciate huge images

There's not always an image URL link though, I think posting pics from ebay is going to be a pain.

You can also make the photo smaller to save space but clickable so people can click it to see the original size. Just replace img with thumb
