I would think because all videos from youtube should go in the youtube thread. Thats the only reason i can think of.

Oh for God's sake! Must admit the "all vids in YT thread" thing does annoy me. I'm not a reader of it, but I like to see vids relevant to my interests which are heralded by thread titles! Much easier to find relevant stuff!

The most annoying thing is that I had just drafted a long response as to why the guy on the video is a dick only to find the thread locked. Can't be arsed to type it all out again but suffice to say he would not have lasted long on any of the Squadrons I was on.......But then the RAF Regt was a little different.

Ditto with my reply. Poor that there was no message about why it was closed. I don't understand some of the drivel that runs on for page after page but this got closed...

Sorry, I closed it but was in a rush and didn't think an explanation was necessary, what with the YouTube link and the cries of reeeepost.

Have you seen how busy the YT thread is? It'd clog the lounge up so we're trying to keep links there. Admittedly it means some gems get lost, but it also keeps the dross at bay.

I s'pose... I must admit, when one of those threads gets to a huge number of pages I just avoid. I find PHs page pointers get confused very quickly and it's very annoying to click the icon to go to the last page you read and it dumps you on the last page or page 1
