Renewable energy forum?
Discussion
I wonder whether you could consider starting a renewable energy forum? I would imagine that there are a lot of people who are looking at this more closely as energy becomes ever more expensive and I suspect that there would be a fair bit of useful experience and knowledge within the Pistonheads community?
Personally I have made a start by installing a wood burner with a back-boiler and, with the new guaranteed payments coming through for excess electricity generated by renewable means, I am now looking again at Solar after deciding 5 years ago that it would not be economical for us.

We could do with an alternative fuelled car section for electric cars etc.
As I said above, it's not to do with the politics of the issue, it's simply down to the fact that there much already be enough chat about a subject before we create the forum or doing so will simply kill the discussions rather than encouraging them.thinfourth2 said:

It's the future. I've tasted it. (I haven't actually)Anyway, I think it's inevitable that alternative fuel cars are going to become more common. Look forward PH!
The reason for my post is this story.
Service station charge points offer Welcome Break from range anxiety
There seems little point in putting it in the GG forum, as I can guess where it will end up, yet it might be a bit of a watershed.
PS. Please could someone delete some of the smilies above. It makes it unreadable.
