Google Chrome wanting to download pages instead of opening

I know there is probably little PH can do on this, but wondered if anyone else was suddenly having this issue, I can open links by right clicking and open in new page but it prompts me to download everything if i just click normally, be this links to different forums, page numbers etc etc???

Very weird... let us know if it happens again (could be a rogue javascript call in an advert that is doing it if it is there one minute and not the next, as that is the only thing that changes on the page)

Which means I am on the lookout for that KLM advert to see if it is related to that.

Thing was I had it on a few pages so unless they all had the same advert (I didn't notice) then I'm pretty confused.

I was thinking more a dodgy google chrome update and put it on here to see if any other users were getting the issue!!

Now I have "Confused.com" on every page though, so maybe advert related!!

Actually I was on remote desktop and did have issues later in the day with RDP deciding I had Ctrl or Shift pressed so this is a possibility!

Good advice as ever, no further issues, thread closed!

I had this sometime ago. After a remove & reinstall of chrome it fixed it.
