Above ad link is one of several causing my Opera browser to fall over this morning.

Not sure if it's the same issue or not, but a few times this morning I've had the message "Internet Explorer has modified this page to prevent cross-site scripting". When the message has appeared, the top banner ad has not been displayed, with just a # in its place.

Not sure if it's related but, for the last few days, no PH forum pages have completed loading.

Seems to be the various tracking entities behind banners and is likely my work Proxy blocking them.

e.g. bannerfarm.ace.advertising.com, etc.

Are you able to see the adverts, or are they not appearing?

I'm seeing the ads no problem.

From a few page refreshes the non-loading sites are:

media.contextweb.com
pixel.quantserv.com
s0.2mdn.com
uac.advertising.com
pix04.revsci.net

I'm guessing it's the trackign stuff that's being blocked by our proxy although that usually returns a 'blocked' message rather than hanging indefinately.

installed adblock plus, problem solved.

A knock-on effect, apart from no ads) is I've just realised how fast the PH Site is when its pages aren't relying on other people's ad services to load.

FF and adblock are ok when on the PC, but I don't have that luxury with mobile browsing using Opera.
