Has the edit function been changed?

Just noticed that if you post and then go straight back in to edit crap spelling, the post doesn't have the edit footnote.

Is it on some sort of grace period timer?

Don't worry. My own little experiment suggest it's anywhere between 20 seconds and 2 minutes

Since you were wondering, the grace period is two minutes between pressing submit on the first post and pressing submit on the edit.
