Posts without subjects.

Would it be possible to prevent the submission of posts without a subject line?

There is one in "Homes, Gardens and DIY" and it means that you can't look at it unless you click on the folder icon on the left. Also, the fact that the OP cannot change the subject once submitted means that they can't correct their error.

I think it's an oddity of the mobile site where previewing a post removes the subject without giving any indication that it has done so. For some reason I don't think any work has been done on the mobile site for a while now.

I posted a thread from my phone this week in the diy forum and for some reason my phone didn't post the title.

I did however log in from a pc and reported the thread and asked for a mod to add a title, which was done very quickly.

Yes, this has happened to me a few times. Thankfully, the mods have stepped in promptly on all occasions and kindly inputted a title for me. Its the preview that wipes it, as you rightly say.

You are quite right when you say that it's a bug with the mobile site preview screen but unfortunately we are unable to make any changes to the mobile site at the moment.

In the mean time, all I can suggest is double checking that it hasn't blanked it on the mobile preview screen before you post and if you do end up posting a titleless topic, report it to the mods and we'll fix it for you asap.
